The situation

Jerry runs a busy events company, and like a lot of owners he was the bridge between everything: the website, the inquiries, the CRM, the ads and the money. When the work moves by hand, you can't see what a booking actually earns you.

What I did

• Rebuilt the website from a design system and cut it over on 7 August 2026. The packages page carries the chosen package straight into the quote form.
• Connected all three inquiry forms (quote, contact, wedding availability) to DJ Event Planner, the CRM he already used, and proved each one with a test lead read back from the CRM.
• Built a lead measurement path from the paid click to the form, analytics, the ad conversion and the booking status. Since 10 September the lead event fires once per real inquiry, from the confirmation page, not on every click of submit.
• Put automated checks on every deploy: sitemap, metadata, mobile layout, packages, the lead event and more.
• Ran a financial and CRM audit, reconciled to the bank statements. It led to a written payout standard for subcontracted DJs, which Jerry accepted.

Speed, honestly

On 8 September 2026 a local Lighthouse 12 run with simulated mobile throttling scored every one of the 17 tested pages between 92 and 98 on mobile, and 99 to 100 on desktop.

The day before, most pages scored 58 to 66. That slow version was my own first build: a font import was blocking the page. I found it, fixed it and measured again. That's the job.

Where it stands

The work was consulting and growth infrastructure. AI was my delivery tool, not the deliverable. In October 2026 the site moved to Jerry's own hosting account and the source went to his drive, so he owns all of it.
